Cookie Policy

Last updated 24 June 2026

This policy explains the cookies Paylio sets in your browser, what each one is for, and how long it lasts. Paylio is operated by Serviq BPO Limited, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The short version: we set the cookies needed to keep you signed in, one cookie that remembers how you left the interface, and nothing else.

1. What a cookie is here

A cookie is a small piece of text your browser stores for a site and sends back on later requests. Paylio uses them for two things only: knowing that you are signed in, and remembering one layout preference. We do not use cookies to profile you, and we do not share them with anyone.

If you have never signed in, browsing the public pages — the home page, this one, the product guides, the Terms and the Privacy Policy — sets no cookies from us at all.

2. Strictly necessary — your sign-in session

When you sign in, our authentication provider sets session cookies in your browser. Their names begin with “sb-”, and between them they hold the token that proves who you are and the token used to renew it. They are what stops every page asking you to log in again.

These cookies are set when you sign in, refreshed as you use the app, and removed when you sign out. Over HTTPS they carry the Secure flag, so they are never sent over an unencrypted connection. They are strictly necessary: block them and Paylio cannot keep you signed in, which means it cannot work.

3. Preference — how you left the interface

One cookie, “sidebar_state”, records whether you had the workspace sidebar expanded or collapsed. Its value is only “true” or “false”, it lasts seven days, and it is read on your next visit so the layout opens the way you left it. It identifies nothing about you; if it is missing, the sidebar simply opens expanded.

4. Cookies we do not set

We set no analytics cookies, no advertising or retargeting cookies, and no cross-site tracking cookies. There is no analytics tag, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracking script anywhere in the product or on this website.

That is why Paylio shows you no cookie consent banner. A banner exists to ask permission for optional tracking; we have none to ask about, and consent is not required for the cookies that keep you signed in.

5. Storage that is not a cookie

Your browser also keeps a few small preferences in local storage rather than in cookies — your light or dark theme choice, and notices you have dismissed. These never leave your browser: they are not sent to our servers with your requests, and clearing site data removes them.

We do collect application error reports so we can fix crashes. That reporting uses no cookies, and authentication and cookie headers are stripped from a report before it is sent.

6. Controlling cookies

Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies, and clearing site data for Paylio removes all of ours. Because the only cookies we set are the sign-in ones and a single layout preference, blocking them signs you out rather than reducing tracking.

7. Changes and contact

If we ever add a cookie, this page is updated before it ships, and the date above changes with it. Questions about this policy: privacy@mypaylio.com. Serviq BPO Limited, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
